General patrol officers primary purpose is the enforcement of all municipal bylaws and some provincial statues.
Every municipality has different bylaws which vary from Fire Prevention, Non Smoking, Behavioral, Noise Nuisance, Parking, Property Standards, Public Reserves, Firearms and Hunting Bylaws.
These officers also obtain and execute w

These officers also obtain and execute warrants for bylaw enforcement matters relating to search, entry, inspection and enforcement.

C.S.U officers primary mandate is engagement with the community to develop a higher standard of safety.
These officers are assigned to perform Traffic Enforcement which includes no truck routes, weigh restrictions, load securement, traffic control devices, speeding.
Other duties also include but not limited to Off Road Vehicle Enforcement a

Other duties also include but not limited to Off Road Vehicle Enforcement and Patrols, Flooded Community Patrols, Rapid Response to Natural Disasters, assist with Traffic Duties at motor vehicle collisions and to assist general patrol officers if required.
